Create a New Transparent Layer

Select the Text Tool

Choose a Colour for the Text

Enter your Text

Enter a Number to change the Text Size

Select a Font from the Font text box

Add a Shadow to the Text

Choose a size and colour for the Shadow

The Drop Shadow is Added to the Text
